mom's run

This is my favorite picture of the trip. We were doing our own version of a congo line in the kitchen. Behind me is my cousin Nakerra, Ahmah (gramma) and Ahgong (grampa). We had lots of fun in Florida and for one weekend we headed to Alabama.

I mentioned in an earlier message that we were going to go watch mom run in Alabama and we did. She did well and me and dad had fun hanging out. As you can see dad bought me some custom race wear and mom "run mommy run" shirt was a big hit. It was suprising how many people still walked up to dad during the race and asked "is his mommy running in the race today?" DUH... What did they think, I was a prop just there to help dad pick up chicks? hmmmmm.....

This week my grampa Barry is in town and helping daddy build the basement. Hopefully I will have some pictures of this to post for you soon. In the meantime I am holding steady with 8 teeth, around 23 pounds the last time we checked, and still refusing to crawl. I would rather roll everywhere. I know how to play clap your hands but only if you sing it in Chinese, and sometimes I will give you five. Right now I am trying to type with mom so I think she is going to sign off....

beach baby...

Greetings. Well I promised to make up for my absence while in Florida with lots of pictures so here are a few more. This one is one of the few pictures I have with mom since she seems to be on the other side of the camera most of the time.
Here is the whole family walking down the beach in Bluewater bay, just outside Niceville.

Have you ever seen such handsome men before??!! Here is me and dad, dad was trying to look like me but he doesn't have the cool sweater vest, and he has that funny thing on his top lip. When I first got close to the water I was kinda scared of the noise but once I realized I was there for a photo shoot I loosened up.

Stay tuned for more photos of the trip in the weeks ahead...

PHOTO GALLERY

This is my cousin Nakerra. She was very nice to me when I was in Florida and she let me play with her toys and she helped to watch me.
Bath time in the big bowl. Ahmah (gramma) helped give me bathes and I think I am ready for swimming lessons.
Here I am on my first trip to the beach. When I first got clost to the water I cried because the sound scared me, but I liked having my toes in the sand.
I love leggo!!! Mr. and Mrs. Wright spoiled me rotten at their house and Mr. Wright played on the floor with me for hours. I never fussed once when I was at their place because they gave me so much attention.
Don't ask.... Dad did this to me... Those are my pants on my head.

I will post more pictures this week of other events of my trip...

I'M BACK!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay it has been over a month and lots has happened in my life. I have LOADS of pictures to share with you but I'm not sure where to start. Perhaps we should do this chronologically...
Anyway, while mom figures that out let me give you just a brief rundown of some of my life experiences in the last month...

December 14th, first plane ride. I was a total gentleman and the flight attendants actually thanked me for being on their flight. There were lots of kids traveling because of the holidays and I showed them all how to act. December 17th, pastor Tom did my dedication in Montreal. I was a good boy and eventually tried to eat his sermon notes while he was holding me. December 19th we headed to Florida and I got to try out my new passport. I did great on al the flights except the last one kinda bugged my ears since it was so short and we went up so fast.

The whole time I was in Florida I had to be kept cool because I hate getting hot and sweaty. I got to sit in big boy car seat and had my first experience in a walker since we are not allowed to have them here in Canada. I now have 8 teeth, weigh 25 pounds, can clap my hands, click my tongue, clap my feet, roll all over and stand up with help. No dice on the crawling yet, I would rather just roll to where I gotta go.

I got to go to Alabama, play with my cousin Nakerra, shop at the outlet malls, go to the beach, ( the ocean scared me and I cried at first), stay with my grandma and grandpa for 6 hours, (mom's new longest record of being away from me), play with a big dog since I missed Bosco so much, and open lots of Christmas presents.

I had a great time, was a very good boy, and am glad to be back safe. Enjoy the pictures over the next few posts, dad took LOADS of them.
