Fighting pirate, AAARRRRRHHH!

Okay, I know it is the middle of November but give mom a break. She has been working like crazy and you have to admit that this pics are worth the wait... (?) Before we get into that though let me tell you about my day...
I got up at 5am and was starving. I was not allowed to eat or drink anything, not even some water when brushing my teeth, and then I look outside and it is snowing, dark and cold. Regardless I happily bundle up and head to the hospital for my surgery. We get there and end up walking around half the building, (in my clunky winter boots nonetheless), only to finally find the children's pavillion. The nurses immediately start ooohhhing over me and keep talking about my eyes and my eyelashes. I am glad I can only hear half of what they are saying because it is kinda embarrassing the way they are gushing over me. Mom got to come into the O.R. with me and they gave me some really stinky gas. The last thing I remember is talking about going up on a rocket ship with stinky diesel fuel...
Next I am waking up and the nurses are giving me toys and making me laugh. They still won't feed me but gave me a lousy sip of apple juice. No complaints from me though because something strange has happened... I CAN HEAR EVERYTHING!!! Mom even tried whispering to me and I could hear it. We played the whispering game in the recovery room and the nurses gave me a popsicle for breakfast! Everyone kept fussing about how good I was and one doctor even told mom that she was going to have to keep me, FOREVER! Mom was a little worried at first but when she realized it was just because the staff had crushes on me she knew she could take me home. While we were driving hone I sang to the music, made up new lyrics and had a great time. I didn't ask for tylenol all day and even went outside and shovelled the snow.
I love hearing so good and I thank all of you who prayed for me. God is Good!!!
