Greetings to you all over this holiday season. I thought I would post some pictures of the recent festivities to give all the grandparents a look at what they missed being so far away. We had a really good Christmas, spent Christmas eve out at my Uncle Sheldon's, and then spent Christmas day at home with just the four of us. We all stayed in our jammies all day and I got to open presents.

Hey folks... I realized that I actually loaded the wrong video last time... This one is much cuter.
Since we last talked the weather here has plunged even more and we are trying to stay warm while still getting out and about. Swimming, strolleraerobics and gymnastics are done until the new year so we have been doing other outings instead. The other day I got to go "real bowling" for the first time. I finished all our Christmas baking and delivered it to all the neighbors, helped daddy wrap mommy's Christmas present, (there will definitely be a picture of this to follow). The other day when mommy was doing aerobics I asked the lady to take me to the bathroom and she tried to make me sit down to pee... seriously, who is she kidding? I quickly informed her that "I only pee like daddy", (standing up-in case you are wondering).
We will send some video of Micah crawling soon, but I don't get what the big deal is... I walk around and no one seems to make a big deal of it. Speaking of big deals... I got my first phone call from a girl tonight and mom made a pretty big deal of it... She answered the phone and my girlfriend Divya asked to speak to me, (she is three- dad says that older women are where it is at.) Mom got a little choked up as she watched me talk to her on the phone... whatever mom, there is LOTS more where that came from...

Hey folks. I know it has been forever but lots has been going on. Micah has been sick for three weeks, the doctor said that we keep giving it back and forth to each other. Besides that, we have been busy with gymnastics, swimming, church group, stroller-aerobics, and play dates. Micah is getting his first molars, teeth # nine and ten, and he is crawling and clapping his hands. He gives big sloppy kisses and loves to bite everyone and everything. As for me, I love my swimming and gymnastics, and I am quite jazzed about all the shopping that we have been doing. Presents are showing up under our tree, and mom and dad let me eat a little tiny chocolate everyday out of this new calendar they got. I am saying things that they find quite hilarious and I never understand why they laugh at me so much.
Other than that there has been some bad news too. Dad's police class officially started on December 1st and he didn't get to go. Immigration is not done yet and we found out it is all because they sent his medical to the wrong office and some other "Rob Brown's" medical got sent to Ottawa... Now this means that dad is on ice with the police until APRIL... Besides that our only remaining great grandparent passed away "GG", and we had to miss the funeral because we were out of town. Micah still doesn't sleep through the night, mom's car is broken, the weather stinks, Micah won't take a bottle yet, and I have officially quit taking naps.
No worries though. I am fully enjoying having my daddy at home, and Micah is getting to be more fun to torment. I love to pile toys in front of him, (okay, sometimes on him), and I also like to take stuff away from him. I tried some of his baby food the other day and boy am I glad that I don't have to eat that stuff. Oh well, gotta go- it's bath time.
Your Christmas cards should be arriving in the mail shortly. Hope you are having a good holiday season and taking time to remember the real "reason for the season".
I was born by emergency c-section and I was nice enough to wait until dad got back into town from the Saskatchewan game before sending mom into labor. Labor lasted 10 and 1/2 hours before I decided to drop my heart rate and demand to come out NOW! Though I had some serious medical concerns early in life I am now a healthy, happy, handsome young boy.
