CHRISTMAS 09'

Hello again.

It seems like I just posted Halloween pics and here we are posting Christmas photos... Where does the time go? We were actually looking at last years photos from Christmas and Micah is a great gauge at how fast things change. He is talking in full sentences now, (talking too much if you ask mom.) We just finished another semester of church school and gymnastics, and we are looking forward to a little programming break over the holidays. Mom is determined to have us at the YMCA at least a couple of days a week over the holidays so we don't go crazy indoors, and we have lots of play dates lined up.

Last weekend was dad's birthday and his work Christmas party. We got to go to the World Water park and boy did we have fun!!! Me and dad went on all the big slides, and Micah kept mom running in the kids area. He didn't care if she was there to catch him and he kept all the spectators entertained as he flew down the slides. We were all really tired when we were done, and we were having so much fun we forgot to eat supper until 7 o'clock. (Anyone that knows mom knows that is unheard of.)

BIG news... Dad is officially signed off... I guess that means he is riding solo now as a police officer. He may still have a partner on night shift, but he passed all the requirements and is on his own... he seems happier now but is still working really, really hard and we don't see him much. The other day he had to work a 24 hour shift... YUCKY! His eyes were so red it was kinda scary. Keep him in your prayers and think of us on Christmas. Dad has to work all day the 23,24,25, and 26th. He will be gone when we get up and home once we are in bed. We are trying to figure out how to do Christmas, so don't be surprised if you call and we are saying Merry Christmas on the wrong day!
