Spring is in the Air!!!!

Greetings and happy spring to you all. I am loving this nice weather and have been taking advantage of being outside. I love the feel of the grass on my feet, and playing in the dirt is awesome!!

Mom is busy back at work and pretty soon dad goes back too. Rumor has it that I am in charge when that happens??? I have been a very good boy lately, I have 12 teeth now and the book says I should only have about 6... Oh well, better too any than too few I say. I am standing on my own sometimes but no walking yet. Mom is threatening to tape my knees together if I get any busier and they seem to be in no hurry to see me walk. I am great at givving kisses, blowing kisses and I like to show people my number one finger when they ask me how old I am.

Big birthday coming up.....

Gotta go, mom is leaving for work and I have to give kisses.

MEASLES!!!!!

Why does my father do this to my clothes??? These are my Uncles...

Yep, you got it. I got the baby measles. Not a big fan of these crappy spots. I just got rid of my fever from these last two teeth breaking through and then along comes this awful rash. At first mom thought it was a food allergy but doc says it is baby measles. I haven't been getting much sleep from the itching but as usual I have been in a surprisingly good mood.



While I was at the doctors office she decided to go ahead and do my one-year old check up. 96% tile for weight, (surprise, surprise), at a modest 26 pounds and holding, 93% tile for height, and let's just say my head circumference was not even close to registering on the graph... 49 centimeters.... I am imagining all of you reading this getting out your measuring tapes and measuring your own heads right now....



Other than that, dad is working away at the basement with grandpa, and mom and I have been working in the backyard. I went for my first bike ride but the helmet made my measles itchy. Oh, and I had to buy a helmet for 5-6 year olds... No laughing!!



Pray for my health and for dad's strength and health going into the training camp ahead. Mom is going to be heading back to work part time and I have been getting a little clingy so pray for all of us in this area.
