It is our birthday!!!

Today is daddy's birthday and yesterday was my 6 month birthday. I am officially 1/2 a year old and the doctor has given me a green light to start food. I have slept through the night for the last three nights, am in the 96th percentile for weight and 91st percentile for height. The doctor put mom's mind at ease about the health nurses comments, and I was given a clean bill of health.

I now have 4 teeth and the top ones are close behind. You can see them coming and they are more difficult than the bottom ones have been. Today mom has the flu and daddy has spent his entire birthday taking care of me and doing an awesome job.

Prayer requests for the week ahead include less-painful teething, smooth adjustment to food, strength for mom and dad when doing diapers, and that mom's flu goes away completely.
