POOL FUN IN PALM SPRINGS

Well we are back from our much-needed vacation. True to form for this family, their were many adventures and mishaps, but to be expected. The trip started with our arrival into orange county and a nation-wide announcement that a crazy ex-cop was on the loose. Looking nothing like Robert, it didn't stop many from looking twice when we were out in the area. We headed to San Diego for a day at Sea World, only to have Elijah meet with a full-blown ear infection and excruciating pain half way through the day. not to be deterred, we called Uncle Freddy to have him phone in a prescription to our nearest pharmacy and we continued on with our adventure. The next day was Lego-Land with our good friends -the Malveaux family.  Elijah was a trooper and fought through chronic and horrific nose-bleeds and a great time was had by all. Our final day in San Diego was the world-famous Zoo, however we were met with a torrential downpour. Not to dampen our spirits we stuck it out for awhile and got to see much of the zoo from the double-decker bus tour. As we headed back to Anaheim we were updated that the crazy former cop had struck again and their was a state-wide manhunt for him... So the next day we decided to go right to San Bernadino where he was hiding!! (Friends invited us for dinner)... Our additional adventures included a BBQ at Auntie CC's with Auntie Denise, family roller-skating, and poolside in Palm Springs. Overall it was a great break from the snow, and an incredible experience made possible by the generosity of Auntie CC and Uncle Freddy's amazing homes.
