I can kiss!!

Hello again. I managed to find some time to sneak in an update. My swim classes were cancelled this week since it is spring break so I have a little time to spare. I have been busy crawling around everywhere and my favorite thing is still jumping on the bed. (Okay, maybe eating is my favorite, and then bugging the dog, and then swimming and THEN jumping on the bed.) I have managed to convert my empty diaper box into a walker and I push it while I try to walk behind it. I have also learned to kiss. I don't always do it on cue, but sometimes I will do it on my own and I still love to snuggle. You have to say kiss on Mandarine for me to know what you are talking about, and if too many people are watching I will ignore the request. Every once and awhile though, I will suprise mom and give her or dad a big sloppy open mouth smooch.

AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH..... Life is good.

I'm a swimmer!!!!

We folks, it is official. I survived swim class and have decided that I love it. Dad was only one of two dads in the group and we had a blast! Since we are a little competitive we came home and practiced some of the songs and stuff in the tub for the next week, and I worked on blowing bubbles since some of the older kids were already doing that. Already granny and Auntie Roxy have come to swim class to watch with mom and I always try to put on a good show.

As you can see I can also brush my own teeth. I love all the new food I am getting but I am also careful to take care of all these chompers so I can do plenty more eating. Bosco and I are getting along great and mom and dad are thinking of getting him a playmate since they spend so much time with me. We get to go to the dog park lots now since the weather is getting better, and I love being out in the stroller. Hopefully mom gets her butt back running so we can be out strolling more often.

I'm back.....

Okay, I know. It has been over a month since I last posted and there is no excuse. During that time I have celebrated my 9 month birthday, gone to Vegas, switched my car seat to forward facing, learned to pull myself up in my crib and jump up and down on the bed, and officially outgrown my jolly jumper. It will be a very sad day when mom and dad pack it up and store it away- I have loved that thing!

I also got to see my cousin Senecca in Vegas- he is walking already and it really frustrated me to not be able to follow him around. He did help me get a taste of table food though, and I LOVE IT!! I caught my first cold, ate my first french fry, had my first baby sitter over (Auntie Roxy), and went to my first movie. I even got to help dad and Grandpa Barry with the basement renovations.

Time is flying and as of tomorrow I start swimming lessons. I am officially a "splasher" at the YMCA, and I don't know who is more excited, my folks or me. Mom plans to video the first lesson, Granny is coming to watch, and dad is going to be in the water with me... Seriously, can you say "overkill?"
