Halloween is coming....

This is one of my favorite times!!!
All clean!!!

This is our team for the Lymphoma walk

Hello everyone,
This week I have some pretty serious prayer requests for you all. Lots has been going on, and seemingly lots has been going wrong. First I need you to pray for my friend William. He was born last week, cute as can be and his parents have now been told he has meningitis and his entire left lobe has been affected and he may not make it through the week. This is very sad for everyone and we would like to also keep his mommy (Maureen) and daddy (Pablo) in your prayers.
Next up are the Calvillos. Baby Olivia was born last week and she is doing great. Her daddy used to play with my daddy and unfortunately her mommy is not doing too well. Her mommy is having some pulmonary problems and this has forced her daddy to quit football for the rest of the year and take care of Olivia and her sister Athena. It is a very scary time and I pray miss Alexia is going to be perfectly healthy after this all and able to go home to her two little girls.
Next in line is my silly grampa-Ray. Many of you remember me mentioning that he and granny recently retired and are running the streets in the USA. Well the other day Grampa Ray got a little carried away on his new bike and crashed and fractured his leg. He had major surgery the other day and is going to be fine, but not a great start to the retirement trek. Granny can't back up their 5th wheel so for now that are stuck parking in pull through spots or sleeping in shopping center parking lots...
This week may also be daddy's last game at home for football. It is very sad to think about but we ask that you all keep him and his team in your prayers, not so much for a win but for a turn around in attitudes and understanding in what is important... I want daddy to be encouraged and to be able to have fun out there again!!!
Well that is all the heavy stuff for now... Next week I will keep it light and include all our Halloween photos which should be good for a laugh...
Luv and prayers!!!!

I am so thankful we have a great and powerful God to whom we can bring these heartfelt requests. May God's compassionate and sovereign love, comfort, power and peace be known in all these difficult circumstances.

So grateful that we can share these prayers with our brothers and sisters...

With much love,
Gerrie
