August!! Already?

This is my buddy Kaiya that was staying with us... She's cute! Me, dad and Kaiya. I think Kaiya had a crush on daddy and the feeling was mutual.
I was being chivalrous and pushing Kaiya around in my wagon. She wasn't sure about the whole adventure...
BUSTED!!! Mom and dad don't understand that everything is a jungle gym right now.
Taking a stroll in my new LA CLippers gear. Auntie Denise was here from LA and hooked me up

Greetings to all of my faithful followers. I have been neglecting the blog lately but with good reason. Things have been crazy-busy lately and I have lots to tell you.

The Woodcocks have moved out and the Collins family has moved in. They are visiting from Sacramento California and are here to do a memorial concert for mom's Pastor, the late Rev. Johnny Collins. Mom has been at rehearsal every night and the big concert is on Sunday. I got to go to part of one rehearsal and so far, so good. I even have my own tambourine to join in the fun.

Dad had an interesting week at work and this weekend is another home game. I don't get to go to this one because it starts at my bedtime, but I was pretty good at the lousy game last weekend. It is a long time for a one-year-old to sit still if you ask me but I thought it was nice of the cheerleaders and the mascots to keep me entertained.

My sign language is still going well, mom and dad are catching on nicely, they now understand almost 20 different signs I do, and it has made communication easier. I still get a little frustrated some times and I like to demonstrate that by throwing my head back (and that is a BIG head) and shrieking. Now that I can walk I see no need for a stroller when we are out shopping, unless it is for me to drive and crash into things...

Anyway, lots to do today, I will keep you posted on how the concert goes this weekend.

LUV YA!!

Thanks for the update, Elijah! What a busy house you have.

Please pray for Pastor Tom as he is travelling to see his new grandaughter. Uncle George is going to fill in for him at the Als bible study after their by week.

Have fun climbing on stuff! Wasn't it a LOT easier (but less interesting) a year ago, Mom?

Love, Gerrie
