Hello and Happy New Year. Hope you all had a great Christmas and safe holidays. We survived dad's shiftwork and while Christmas felt a little quiet we were happy to spend what we could of it together. We got some very exciting new toys and our favorite thing was the bubble wrap that some of them came in...

After Christmas we went to visit Auntie CC's new house up in Canmore and that was an adventure. Micah is not a great traveller in the car, and he made it a little interesting for all of us. The adventure was a little exhausting since both me and Micah were super-sick, out of our normal routine and in a strange place at bedtime. Mom and dad were wiped- but we survived. I don't think we will be going on any road trips again soon.

Both mom and dad worked on New Years, mom all night and dad all day. School has started back this week and we are getting back into the swing of things. Micah was pretty upset when I went back to school. He got used to having me around all the time and he actually cried and called for me all the way home the first day.

Pray for us in the year ahead as we try to remember all of our loved ones in our prayers.
